IEEE 1394 (FireWire®)-to-IDE Hard Drive Interface Adapter
Lava's IEEE 1394 (FireWire®)-to-IDE controller easily and conveniently adds FireWire® capability to any internal IDE hard disk drive. Attach a 3.5? IDE hard drive to Lava?s FireWire®-ready controller board using the controller's ribbon and power cables. The converted hard drive can then be inserted into an available hard disk drive bay and connected to an internal FireWire® port in the computer for additional ultra high-speed storage space. The IEEE 1394 (FireWire®)-to-IDE controller includes a second FireWire® port for daisy-chaining other FireWire® peripherals.
